We believe a hero is someone who doesn’t quit when it gets hard. Who takes responsibility rather than makes excuses and who solves problems to make the world better. There is a hero in every child. By sharing hero stories and connecting young people with heroic mentors, they will rise as heroes themselves and make the world a better place.

The Hero's Journey

Learning at Lighthouse International is an invitation to a Hero's Journey. We believe each of our students will find something they love and have a gift for doing and figure out a way to share that with the world. What is a Hero's Journey? The finding, pursuing, and sharing of one's gifts. Our mission is to equip our students with the skills and tools they will need to find and pursue their life's purpose.

We believe character is central to living a life of meaning. Our educational philosophy is grounded on this idea. We believe clear thinking leads to good decisions. Good decisions lead to good habits. Good habits lead to character and character leads to destiny.
